Account Manager (Hybrid Role, Account Management / Sales)

Optivate Agency ranked in the Top 500 Fastest-Growing Companies in the U.S by INC. 5000 is seeking an Account Manager to join their growing team. The Account Manager will be responsible for program development while building market position by locating, developing, and closing new and existing clients. They will develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders in an effort to provide excellent customer service and ultimately drive business growth.

To succeed in this role, you should be highly organized and perform multiple tasks for different teams/clients simultaneously. If you have experience with marketing campaigns and understand what excellent customer service is, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidate can both administer daily account management activities and brainstorm innovative ideas to improve our client relationships.

Ultimately, you will drive growth to our company by being an essential part of the Account Management team. Optivate Agency represents some of the largest brands in the Alcohol Beverage Industry. We also work closely with other large CPG brands outside of Bev-alc.

Responsibilities:

Core pillars for our account managers are retention and incrementalization of your client roster.

  • Responsible for managing the creative process with developers and designers, booking media through technology partners, harnessing and managing client relationships, and using relationships to leverage business growth.
  • Will be the main POC for client communications.
  • Responsible for managing accounts, and working with internal teams to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Answer client queries and identifies new business opportunities among existing customers.
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Tracks individual contributions and accomplishments.
  • Design and renew sales and marketing proposals.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure proper pre-and post-sales service.
  • Communicate with Marketing, Sales, Designers, and Legal teams.
  • Help create promotional materials (e.g., presentations and videos).
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as an account manager with agency experience.
  • Excellent computer skills (Google Suite in particular).
  • Experience with marketing/advertising campaigns.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.

Benefits Include:
  • Base salary range $45,000.00 – $65,000.00
